WEBJun 25, 2021 · So my options are currently 25/5 mbps (maximum!) service from a WISP at $100 +tax per month; traditional satellite ISP (even higher price, about the same speed but horrendous latency and data caps)... or T-Mobile Home Internet. TMo is consistently faster than the WISP (generally 40-50 mbps up AND down) and is $40 cheaper.

WEBT-Mobile internet is decent. I wish I could change my DNS on the router. I’m hoping the cable isp drop the data cap and unlimited internet charge. I would go back to Cox if they did this, even if my internet was more than T-Mobile. I don’t think they will. When I canceled Cox all they wanted to offer was $7 off my bill. F those guys.

WEBDec 6, 2021 · A: The home internet gateway uses all of T-Mobile's lowband (band 71 at 600mhz and band 12 at 700mhz) and midband (band 66 at 1700/2100mhz, band 2 at 1900mhz, and band 41 at 2500mhz). As a general rule midband will have higher speeds than lowband but midband covers less physical distance and is blocked by objects easier.

WEBMar 29, 2022 · With AOL, you could change to a different connection - and as long as you continued to pay AOL $25 a month just to use the web browser on a different ISP - they let you keep your AOL e-Mail. Making you pay TWICE for access to the internet. ($100 to comcast + $25 to AOL) As for the needing to have a T-Mobile Phone for 2FA.
