We stopped in Namur on our way to Luxembourg. Unfortunately, we did not leave ourselves enough time to climb up to The Citadel. We found Namur very dirty with dog droppings all over sidewalks. Just wondered if maybe we were in the wrong part of town. We walked from the train station to The Citadel, stopping for lunch at a nice little sandwich shop. Just wondered if maybe we were in the wrong part of town.

Sounds like you were we found it very clean, shame you didn't manage to climb the citadel.

yes you can walk up there with your dogs it is a very step climb there is a bar near the top and they have there own dog
