Hello - Is there information in Halle about FW Zachow, organist at Marktkirche and Handel's music teacher? Hmmm... looks like my original answer disappeared.... There are multiple references to the teacher within the museum. Also, it is less than a half mile from the Marktkirche, which is open for visitors at least periodically. Adjacent and parallel to the church is the marienbibliothek halle, supposedly the largest repository for genealogical data in europe. I'm not sure you could get any assistance there, but directly across the square is the town hall, and they will help you if they can. Speaking German would be very very beneficial, though. I hope that helps-
