Jack Draper silenced the Aussie fans for the second straight match, as he delivered the latest in a heroic series of performances in Melbourne.

After splitting sets with Aleksandar Vukic, the 15th seed found himself facing a set point in the third and obliterated his racket in frustration. It delayed the next point as Draper went to dig out a new racket and dampener while the crowd booed. But he was happy to give it back, jeering the fans on as commentators claimed he "lost the plot".

After losing the opening set to Felix Auger-Aliassime during Great Britain’s clash with Canada, Draper smashed his frame on the floor – and then did so again a few months later during defeat to another Australian, Alex de Minaur, at the Paris Masters.

Jack Draper has thanked the Australian Open crowd, despite being booed and jeered at times, following his victory over Alexandar Vukic on Friday. The Briton's match once again went the distance, with Draper winning in five sets following other triumphs over Thanasi Kokkinakis and Mariano Navone.
