Northern California’s fire personnel are returning home after more than a week of working on the frontlines of the destructive Los Angeles wildfires. In the days following Gov. Newsom’s State of Emergency Declaration,

A new wildfire was reported today at 6:27 p.m. in Los Angeles County. Mission Fire has been burning on private land. There is currently no information about the containment efforts for the fire and its cause has yet to be determined.

Tourism officials are looking for signs of what short- and long-term toll the wildfires that struck the Los Angeles area may take on its prowess as a tourism destination.
