Rick Moranis was spotted in New York City with shopping bags in hand on Christmas Eve Tuesday, Dec. 24, in a rare sighting since the actor left Hollywood.

A holiday tradition continued Tuesday night as thousands attended Christmas Eve mass at St. Patrick's Cathedral in Midtown.

Thousands of people gathered at St. Patrick's Cathedral on Christmas Day to celebrate the holiday.
