A crew of 2,956 firefighters has been working on site and they managed to contain 57% of the fire as of Saturday noon. The fire is suspected to have been started deliberately.

Airport Fire initially started 1:21 p.m. Sep. 9 in Orange, Riverside County. After being active for 11 days, it has burned 23,519 acres. A crew of 2,007 firefighters has been working on site and, by Friday evening, they managed to contain 62% of the fire. The wildfire originated from equipment usage.

Bridge Fire initially started 2:12 p.m. Sep. 8 in Los Angeles, San Bernardino County. After being active for 13 days, it has burned 54,877 acres, an increase of 82 acres since the last update. A fire crew of 1,910 succeeded in containing 69% of the fire by Saturday evening. Investigations into its cause are still ongoing.
