Chevrolet's newest Corvette, the ZR1, five production car lap records during a U.S. track tour, Chevy announced Tuesday.

We're hoping you didn’t have any other plans for today, because Chevrolet has just launched the online configurator for the 2025 Corvette ZR1. We, of course, jumped on it right away and specced out our dream ZR1 build; we suspect that you'll want to do the same.

Watkins Glen, Road America, Road Atlanta, and Virginia International Raceway have all fallen to the C8 ZR1's speed. At the latter, both the 3.270-mile Full Course and the 4.2-mile Grand East Course had their records broken by the ZR1.
