Nintendo Switch 2 Joy-Cons compared: How do the new controllers stack up against the ones we know?
Going against what we saw from some leakers, the Switch 2's Joy-Cons don't seem to feature curved backs like a lot of today's handheld PCs. At least their longer build will make it easier for folks with larger hands to grip them.
Nintendo video reveals how Switch 2 Joy-Cons are removed
The animation confirms that in order to unlock the Joy-Cons and remove them from the system, players will have to press a button that is tucked under the trigger. This button appears to disable the magnetic charge that reportedly attaches the controller to the system, allowing it to be removed.
However, a video does show off the large button on the back of the new Joy-Cons on the official Nintendo Switch 2 website.
