Sony has announced the new PS Plus Extra and Premium games for January 2025. January 2025 brings new PS Plus Extra games like God of War Ragnarok and Citizen Sleeper. Premium subscribers get access to all the Extra games plus exclusive titles.

Now, this drop adds eleven new games to the Premium tier, nine of which are also available at the PS Plus Extra tier. The two Premium-exclusive games are Medievil 2, and Indiana Jones and the Staff of Kings.

PS Plus might have struggled to win players over with its January 2025 Essential drop, but hopes are high that it'll be made up for with its Extra and Premium delivery.

January's slate of PS Plus Extra and Premium games that are joining the Game Catalog is headlined by the latest God of War entry.

Consisting of around a dozen PS4 and PS5 games, the PlayStation Plus Extra line-up will be unveiled by Sony at 4.30pm GMT UK time on January 15. The games will be available to download and play less than a week later, on the morning of January 21.

PlayStation Plus will be adding new games to its library in just a few days. This updated roster brings in new experiences for Premium users - featuring a mix of modern blockbusters, indie darlings, and older favorites.

The next wave of PlayStation Plus Extra games will be available to download and play from the morning of January 21.
