India Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Friday invited investments from all sectors that see their "future in mobility", promising government support "at every level" in the world's third largest car market.

Tata Motors, currently leading the electric car segment in India, welcomed increased competition. Shailesh Chandra, head of Tata’s PV and EV divisions, predicted a “tremendous” boom in the EV market, driven by growing consumer confidence due to the presence of all major carmakers.

The Bharat Mobility Global Expo 2025 encompasses several different automotive events such as the Auto Expo, Tyre Show, Battery Show, Mobility Tech, Steel Innovation, and the India Cycle Show under one umbrella.

Bharat Mobility Global Expo will host over 9 concurrent shows, 20+ conferences and pavilions. In addition, the Expo will also feature state sessions to showcase policies and initiatives in the mobility sector to enable collaboration between industry and regional levels.
