Jacksonville Jaguars owner Shad Khan finally dismissed GM Trent Baalke on Wednesday, but it's a move that should have been made weeks ago.

Baalke initially served as director of player personnel for the Jaguars in 2020 before being being promoted to GM in 2021.

Trent Baalke is officially out as the Jacksonville Jaguars general manager. Baalke ends his tenure with the Jaguars after four years. In that span, Baalke compiled a 25-43 record and led the Jaguars to two winning seasons and one playoff birth.
