Dallas Stars goaltender Casey DeSmith stopped all 33 shots he faced en route to defeating the St. Louis Blues on Saturday evening. The Stars were heavily outshot in this contest, but DeSmith was able to lead the way.

DeSmith has allowed nine goals in his last two starts, both losses. But prior to that, he had allowed just six goals in his previous four games, all wins. Dallas has hit a bit of skid lately, but the team will rebound soon enough. And that will put DeSmith back into a strong fantasy role for spot starts in daily.

The Blues problems at home continued on Saturday by being shut out by the Dallas Stars 2-0. The Stars got two first period goals and never looked back. The loss now gives the Blues a losing record
