Former Yankees star Alex Rodriguez recently shared a heartwarming interaction he had with a young baseball player on Instagram. See the wholesome moment.

The young player brought over an iPad and shared a video of himself taking swings in a game. A-Rod watched attentively, high-fived the boy, and fist-bumped him. Rodriguez then asked if he would be a Yankee like Aaron Judge someday. At the end, he told him, “You are going to be a big leaguer, that's my prediction.”

Now, Rodriguez is taking a turn in another sport. According to IndyCar on FOX, the ex-Yankees star and current FOX Sports analyst is set to ride shotgun in the "Fastest Seat in Sports" during the March 2 Firestone Grand Prix of St. Petersburg, Florida.

The side quests continue for former MLB All-Star Alex Rodriguez. After speaking to students at Bucknell University and hitting a $10,000 halfcourt shot to help out a member of the Bison community, A-Rod will now reportedly check another feat off of his sports bucket list.

The 49-year-old Rodriguez will ride in IndyCar's specially designed two-seater at the front of the filed for the Firestone Grand Prix of St. Petersburg presented by RP Funding.
