The New York Jets need to figure out their quarterback situation, and Justin Fields offers an interesting option.
The New York Jets top target at the quarterback position heading into free agency is Justin Fields, per Zack Rosenblatt of The Athletic.
Pittsburgh Steelers quarterback Justin Fields is set to hit the free agency market, according to Dianna Russini of the Athletic. Fields, who the Steelers have continued having an open dialogue with throughout the process, has interest from multiple teams outside of the Steelers.
The Pittsburgh Steelers are keeping the fan base on edge as the organization still does not have a starting quarterback set in stone for the 2025 season.
Other teams have interest in Fields, too, Rapoport adds. This will drive up the Steeler backup’s price and test the AFC North team’s resolve. As the Steelers have been primarily connected to only Fields and Wilson, the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette’s Gerry Dulac reports the team has not dismissed pursuing an outside free agent to solve its QB issue.
