Lakers star Anthony Davis was once agains on the team’s injury report ahead of their game against the Clippers.

Anthony Davis told ESPN he believes the Lakers are "right there" for title contention and hopes they make a move for a center before the Feb. 6 trade deadline.

Anthony Davis scored 24 points, Austin Reaves added 23 and the Los Angeles Lakers cruised to a 117-96 victory over the Boston Celtics on Thursday night.

Iffy for Sunday

Anthony Davis was a late scratch against the Nets on Friday night because of plantar fasciitis in his left foot. It marked his third missed game of the season.

Hayes (shoulder) has been upgraded to probable for Sunday's game against the Clippers, Jovan Buha of The Athletic reports. Hayes was previously considered questionable. The center will be on the streaming radar Sunday if Anthony Davis (foot) isn't able to shake off his questionable tag.
