A woman in her 70s has died after she was hit by a car in Keighley. Police were called to the A629 North Street after reports a woman had been hit by a blue Nissan Qashqai just after 10:30 GMT on Thursday. The woman was taken to hospital where she later died. The driver stopped at the scene and the road was closed until the evening.
A man has died after suffering what police believe was a medical episode while at the wheel. Officers said a Renault Clio collided with a wall as it was turning into a car park outside the Toby Carvery restaurant on Bradford Road, in Keighley, at about 17:30 GMT on Thursday. The driver, in his 60s, died in hospital.
