Arsenal have confirmed that striker Gabriel Jesus has suffered an anterior cruciate injury. The Brazilian is almost certain to miss the rest of the season after suffering the injury in the FA Cup against Manchester United on Sunday, with the 27-year-old set to have surgery in the coming days.
"Gabriel Jesus has received extensive assessments, scans and specialist reviews which have confirmed an injury to the anterior cruciate ligament in his left knee," said Arsenal in a communique, that added: "Gabby will undergo surgery in the coming days and will soon begin his recovery and rehabilitation program."
