Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu met with influential members of Congress on Capitol Hill on Thursday to discuss proposals addressing the Gaza Strip as a cease-fire continues between Israel and Hamas.

Israeli Defense Minister Israel Katz on Thursday proposed offering residents the right to resettle in any country that will have them after U.S. President Donald Trump's plan to take over Gaza and relocate Palestinians.

He says the military should prepare exit options by land, sea and air so that anyone who wishes to can leave for "any country willing to accept them."
