A recent survey from Samsung seems to indicate that the Galaxy S25 release date will land on or around January 5, 2025.

Samsung is gearing up to launch the Galaxy S25 series on January 5, 2025, according to a leaked survey. The timing of this launch is earlier than expected, as the Galaxy S24 launched in late January, while the Galaxy S23 debuted in mid-February.

A consumer survey that Samsung shared with its users may have accidentally leaked the launch date for the Galaxy S25 series.

The report claims that the Galaxy S25 Unpacked event is supposed to be held on January 23, but the sources could very well mean local Korean time, as the 23rd is Thursday, while Samsung usually holds its unveiling keynotes on Wednesdays with release the second Friday from then.

Samsung's One UI 7 Android skin for Android 15 has been teased and rumored so much that after months of delays it's almost surprising to finally put an actual date to its release, even if it is just a launch of the public beta.

Samsung could pull a similar trick with the Galaxy S25 family, namely release the three expected handsets—the Galaxy S25, S25+, and S25 Ultra—in mid-January and hold back the presumptively named S25 Slim for a few months.

Samsung is dangling a 10 percent discount at people to complete the survey to learn the biggest grievances they have with their current Samsung devices, such as games getting stuck, interface being laggy, device overheating, unsatisfactory camera quality, and disappointing battery life and charging specs.

With a Galaxy S25 Slim reportedly in development, Samsung seems to be saying that any phone Apple makes, it can make thinner. And should the rumored addition to Samsung's Galaxy S25 lineup surface next year as leakers have suggested, 2025 could turn out to be a big year for slimmed-down phones.
