A port of the original third Resident Evil game from Capcom will soon be available on PC - a whopping 25 years after its initial release.

The original Resident Evil 3 hits CD Projekt Red-owned GOG on September 25, 2024.A post on the platform from GOG itself and publisher Capcom revealed the release comes not long after the original Resident Evil 2 arrived on the platform,

As GOG itself says, this re-released version of Resident Evil 3 is practically identical to the original; it'll be presented in all its pre-rendered glory, with the same (admittedly upscaled) blocky character models and enemies you may remember if you played it way back in the late 90s.

GOG and Capcom will release the original Resident Evil 3 for PC via GOG on September 25, the companies announced.
