The Shelby County Sheriff’s Office is asking people who live in the Narrows Subdivision are being told to shelter in place.

Two men were found dead inside a home following a standoff where shots were fired in The Narrows area of Shelby County Tuesday morning. The incident began at about 8 a.m. when deputies were serving what Shelby County Sheriff John Samaniego described as a "mental pickup order" on a man in his early 70s at a home in the 200 block of Narrows Drive.
