Southwest Airlines will begin nonstop service from Jacksonville International Airport to Austin, Texas, starting Oct. 2. Southwest and the Jacksonville Aviation Authority announced the service Feb. 6. The flights will be available Sunday through Thursday.
Southwest adding more nonstop flights between Milwaukee and a California destination
On Tuesday, the airport announced that the Dallas-based airline plans to expand its service between Milwaukee and San Diego this fall. Specifically, service between the airports will be offered five days a week, Thursday through Monday. Previously, Southwest offered this route seasonally only on Saturdays.
