Philadelphia Eagles running back Saquon Barkley set a new NFL record for yards from scrimmage accumulated over the regular season and the playoffs on the first play from scrimmage of Super Bowl LIX on Sunday against the Kansas City Chiefs.

Heading into Super Bowl LIX, Barkley was just 30 yards away from breaking Terrell Davis' long-standing record for the most rushing yards in a single season, including playoffs. Barkley wasted no time, surpassing the mark by reaching 31 yards just before halftime.
