According to DownDetector (a sister site of Mashable), the blackout has affected major cities across the U.S., sparking a wave of complaints on social media from frustrated users, including customers of Mint Mobile, T-Mobile’s prepaid subsidiary.

This morning, many T-Mobile customers found that they couldn't connect to the network. The carrier appeared to have dealt with a network outage in certain parts of the U.S., with Downdetector seeing a spike in outage reports on Tuesday, Nov. 12. However, reports seem to be easing as service returns for affected users.

Thousands of T-Mobile users reported issues with the phone service Tuesday afternoon, but according to the provider, the issues have been fixed. According to outage detector site Downdetector, the peak of outages hit around 2:30 p.m. ET, when more than 19,000 users reported problems. The majority of reports indicated users did not have signal.
