Following a listless loss last week at Arizona State, the Colorado men’s basketball team certainly played with improved intensity in its first Big 12 trip to Central Florida.

The University of Arizona women’s basketball team (11-5, 2-1 in Big 12) defeated the University of Central Florida 75-53, marking the Wildcats’ second conference win of the season.

Freshmen Mailien Rolf and Lauryn Swann earned the start over Skylar Jones and Paulina Paris. That change paid off as the Wildcats beat the Knights 75-53. Arizona started the game on a 10-0 run, including a three from Swann.

UCF held Colorado scoreless over the final 3:01 of regulation, making two stops at the end of the game to preserve a 75-74 win.
