The NFL Honors where celebrated from New Orleans just days before Super Bowl Sunday, and it was Josh Allen taking the highest prize of the night.

By Amy Tennery NEW ORLEANS (Reuters) -Buffalo Bills quarterback Josh Allen was named on Thursday the Most Valuable Player of the 2024 National Football League season, earning the honor for the first time.

During his comments to the press during a media availability session on Monday, star defensive lineman Chris Jones told reporters about the challenge of facing the Bills, even going so far as to say he thinks Allen should win the Most Valuable Player award for this season.

Josh Allen is now the favorite over Lamar Jackson to win NFL MVP. Dion Dawkins, Damar Hamlin and Joe Brady are also finalists for awards.

The Buffalo Bills put together one of their best seasons in franchise history in 2024. Despite many believing they'd take a backseat to the Miami Dolphins and/or New York Jets, Buffalo broke their franchise record for points in a season and clinched the AFC East faster than any team has clinched their division in the last 15 years.
