Metro Detroit has no shortage of events to commemorate Black History Month, with a range of lectures, performances, classes and more to learn about and celebrate Black culture.

February is Black History Month and the City of Terre Haute is celebrating by unveiling new banners downtown. The banners will feature local honorees, recognizing their impact on the Terre Haute community.
