CONWAY, ARK. (WFIE) - The University of Evansville baseball team found its revenge for yesterday’s extra-innings loss with a 6-5 win over the Central Arkansas Bears on Saturday afternoon.
LOUISVILLE, KY. (WFIE) - Niki Bode recorded two RBI in Saturday’s opening game against Stonehill to lead the University of Evansville softball team to a 5-2 win at Knights Field. In the second game of the day, the Purple Aces dropped a 6-2 decision to Ball State.
The University of Evansville Purple Aces fell to Murray State Thursday, 53-74. The Aces end their season with 11 wins and 21 losses.
Belmont heads into a matchup with Evansville as winners of three games in a row. Saturday's matchup is the first this season between the teams.
The Racers take on the Purple Aces in the third game in St. Louis. It will be a matchup between the No. 7 and No. 10 seeds in March Madness.
