All the talk after the NBA All-Star Game was if the new mini-tournament format is a keeper. A lot of players and coaches seem to think not. But some are actually for it, including a couple of members of the Cavaliers.

Dear NBA commissioner Adam Silver, please throw away any ideas of 40-minute games. That seems to be the sentiment of pro basketball players and fans, including Cavaliers All-Star Darius Garland.

The Cavs selected Garland with the fifth overall pick in the 2019 NBA draft. Garland’s new teammate De’Andre Hunter was taken a pick of him at No. 4 by the Atlanta Hawks. Zion Williamson was taken first overall by the New Orleans Pelicans.
