MANILA, Philippines – The Minor Basilica and National Shrine of Jesus Nazareno, popularly known as Quiapo Church, has a new parish priest, the Archdiocese of Manila announced on Wednesday.

The Vatican announced Sescon’s appointment in January. Before his appointment, Sescon was the rector of the Minor Basilica and National Shrine of Jesus Nazareno (Quiapo Church) in Manila.
