With an expected launch in January 2025, Samsung’s Galaxy S family will again set the smartphone tone for the first half of the year. It looks like Samsung is preparing a significant update for the S25 family in general and the Galaxy S25 Ultra in particular. Why else would you give it the internal codename of “paradigm”?

In fact, Samsung has been using this sensor for the main rear camera since the Samsung Galaxy S22, which launched in 2022. If this rumor is accurate, that would mean no upgrades for the most important camera component for four straight years.

Several images surfaced over the weekend from noted leaker Ice Universe showing off an alleged Galaxy S25 Ultra case. Based on what's there, it looks like the Galaxy S25 Ultra will ditch the sharp corners of the Galaxy S24 Ultra and adopt a more rounded design that's more comfortable to hold in your hand.
