Days after Derek Sink’s body was discovered in a Planet Fitness tanning bed, his mom shared more about her son and what may have led up to the moments before his death.

Family told 13News that 39-year-old Derek Sink visited a tanning bed on Friday and was found dead there Monday morning.

The man's family said they hope there will be stricter policies put in place to prevent a death like this from happening again.
