(KRON) — A gun was fired during an armed robbery in Redwood City Wednesday afternoon, according to the Redwood City Police Department. Multiple suspects fled before police arrived on scene.

He has been named as 32-year-old Hanif Redwood. He died at the scene from a single gunshot wound to the head. The men are being held on suspicion of murder and remain in police custody.
