The one-time Georgia prosecutor accused of using her office to impede the investigation into Ahmaud Arbery’s killers is set to stand trial more than four years after the Black 26-year-old’s death fueled nationwide protests over racial injustice.

More than 200 potential jurors were summoned Tuesday to a Georgia courthouse for questioning about whether they can serve impartially in the trial of a former prosecutor accused of meddling with police as they investigated the 2020 killing of Ahmaud Arbery.

The trial for Jackie Johnson, the former Georgia prosecutor who allegedly hindered the Ahmaud Arbery murder investigation, is set to begin.
