A Georgia lottery player turned $10 into a life-changing jackpot prize. The lucky player won $293,723 playing the $50 and $100 Frenzy Quick Win game Feb. 1, taking 100% of the rolling progressive jackpot, according to the Georgia Lottery.

Two Fantasy 5 players tried their luck — and each took the top prize. The lucky winners hit the jackpot, netting $156,887 after matching five numbers in the drawing Friday, Jan. 31, according to the Georgia Lottery.

A lottery player tried their luck playing Powerball — and netted a big prize, the Georgia Lottery said. The lucky winner won $50,000 after matching four numbers and the Powerball in the drawing Saturday, Feb. 1, narrowly missing the estimated $88 million jackpot, according to the lottery.

A Georgia Lottery player in Bainbridge hit the jackpot and won $162,216 in Thursday’s Fantasy 5 drawing. The winning ticket was bought at Junior Mall at 417 N. Scott Street in Bainbridge, a small town near the Georgia/Florida border.

A player in Johns Creek won $163,145 in the $25 and $50 Frenzy Quick Win Game, netting 50% of the rolling progressive jackpot, the Georgia Lottery said. The winning ticket was purchased at the Nesbit Ferry Food Mart in Johns Creek, about a 30-mile drive northeast from downtown Atlanta, according to the lottery.

Someone won $50,000 playing Mega Millions after matching four numbers and the Mega Ball in the Jan. 28 drawing, just missing the estimated $44 million jackpot, the Georgia Lottery said. The winning ticket was sold at a Kroger fuel station in Tucker, according to lottery officials.
