Seattle Kraken right-winger Kaapo Kakko is finding his groove and starting to thrive his new team after being traded from the New York Rangers in December.

The Seattle Kraken took a chance by trading for 23-year-old Kaapo Kakko but the early returns show the move was worthwhile.

“All the Finnish guys know each other, like, somehow,” Kakko said.

He has been a solid fit in the Rangers defense corps since coming to New York in the Kaapo Kakko trade on Dec. 18.
