Assassin's Creed Shadows Recent Delay Due Was To Polish Parkour Elements
While a game getting delayed multiple times is never a good sign, let's hope it works out for Ubisoft's sake. The embattled publisher has had a rough 2024, with its tentpole game, Star Wars Outlaws, failing to meet sales expectations. It was even outpaced at retail by a considerably older Star Wars game (Star Wars Jedi: Survivor).

Assassin's Creed Shadows Story Hasn't Been Changed During Delays
During a recent preview event, Assassin's Creed Shadows' game director confirmed why it was recently delayed. According to Charles Benoit, the main reason was to polish up the parkour on rooftops. Benoit also confirmed that none of the game's story elements had been changed during the delay.
