WWE NXT drew its highest total viewership in five years with the NXT New Year’s Evil special. Wrestlenomics (via Variety) reports that 957,000 viewers tuned in on Tuesday. This marks NXT’s highest total viewership since September 25th,

In the opening match of NXT New Year’s Evil in Los Angeles, Giulia kicked off the new year by defeating Roxanne Perez for the NXT Women’s title. This ends Perez’s 274 day reign with the title after defeating Lyra Valkyria at NXT Stand and Deliver last April.

Oba Femi defeated Trick Williams and Eddy Thorpe in a triple threat match at "WWE NXT New Year's Evil" to become the new NXT Champion.

Coming off a historic debut for WWE Raw on Netflix, the train keeps on moving along as NXT presents New Years Evil on Tuesday evening from the Shrine Expo Hall in Los Angeles, Calif. On top of what was already a stacked show,

Tuesday night’s special New Year’s Evil edition of WWE NXT averaged 957,000 viewers on The CW, up 52.9 percent from last week. It’s the best viewership total for NXT since moving to The CW and is the show’s largest overall audience since September 25, 2019.
