Spectrum doesn’t charge for its essential cable modem device. But if you want Wi-Fi (who doesn’t?) you can rent a Spectrum router for $7 per month—unless you’re on the Spectrum Internet GIG plan, which includes a Wi-Fi router for no extra cost. And those aren’t the only ways to get home Wi-Fi.

You can pay a little bit extra to get Spectrum's whole-home Wi-Fi service. Each Spectrum WiFi Pod costs $3 per month, on top of the regular $5 a month for the router.
