Second option is to buy the smaller TFT backlit LCD which is a straight drop in along with replacing the lens. This will retain the stock shell since no modification is needed.

Feb 25, 2022 · Questions on atomic purple GBC. I have two atomic purple GBCs with original shells, but they're kinda different from the photos of atomic purples I see online. I mean, they're not so purple, they look more like just transparent. Here's the front and rear of one of them, and the other one it's even less purple. Questions:
Atomic Purple? dbrand + clear plastic case from Amazon + Idye poly
1 pack Idye poly lilac. Got one of those tinfoil lasagna trays and filled with boiling water. Put on stove top on low and mixed in dye. Submerged the plastic case for 20-25 mins until it looked decent. Mixing the dye well completely beforehand makes a difference from past experience. Keeping the water hot but not boiling also.

Mar 12, 2019 · Atomic purple controllers are extremely common and were available all over the world. They were sold individually and bundled with basic charcoal grey consoles in "atomic purple" bundles that didn't actually have an atomic purple console. Just the grey console with the purple controller. They're worth the same as any other N64 controller.
