  1. Ernie Ball Music Man Guitars - Why aren't they more popular?

Mar 4, 2022 · Keep in mind that Sterling and Music Man are only related by licensing- they're different, unrelated companies. The relationship is a way to offer the market a lower cost product that couldn't be made in the USA at Music Man's factory. Making products in the USA (esp. in States like CA) is expensive. Which is why Apple builds its products abroad

  2. Should I get a PRS or Music Man? Help needed - The Gear Page

Jan 18, 2022 · One aspect that I'm incredibly cognisant of is the neck. Both PRS and Music-man have varying neck widths at the nut. PRS pattern, pattern thin necks are 1.687 or 43mm or 1 11/16" in width whereas Music-man necks, especially the Luke are narrower than that. They are just shy of 42mm or are 1 5/8". Personally, I prefer the latter.

  3. MusicMan JP guitars - The Gear Page

Jul 9, 2021 · How many iterations of the Music Man Petrucci guitar have there been? Anyone keeping track? I recently picked up a 2002 JP6 and the neck edge is very well rounded in from 19 years of playing and its just great. I've had several through the years but this one wins. Currently I have this 2002 and a Neptune blue maple neck 7 string.

  4. Ernie Ball Music Man Valentine - The Gear Page

Nov 13, 2018 · Fair enough, thanks for the update! That's the first I've heard of dead spots, but the neck being too small seems to be a common complaint with the Music Man lineup, in general. I don't think that the small neck would be an issue for me, but potential dead spots are something I'll have to try to be conscious of next time I play one in-store.

  6. Music Man Valentine ??? Any Good - The Gear Page

Jun 3, 2018 · In this months Guitarist, there is a review of the Music Man Valentine. Anyone played one ? Its caught my eye, and Im interested as when I was on a UK search for a Strat (after the ‘one’, you know how it is) I played a Music Man Strat which I hated the look of, but loved the sound and feel.

  7. Music Man 25th Anniversary vs Axis - The Gear Page

Jul 26, 2024 · I'm fairly new to music Man guitars and just bought an Axis. I like the guitar overall, but at times I feel it's too small and I think for me it could use a top contour. With that, I started looking around and came across the 25th anniversary model. How does this compare if I …

  8. Music Man - Silent Circuit - The Gear Page

Sep 24, 2017 · I recently started to test out Music Man guitars and I think I am in love. The necks on these guitars are just incredible and they just seem to have Fender custom shop quality but at much more reasonable prices. The only thing I hesitate on is the 9v powered silent circuit. I …

  9. Music Man Majesty worth it? - The Gear Page

Oct 24, 2020 · My main guitar is a JP XI. Was a GC run with Maple tops. Fantastic guitar. I have a friend/student with a Majesty-the guitar practically played itself-might of been the easiest playing guitar I've ever picked up. the JP's aren't really what I'm into these days but they are great guitars.

  10. Should I get a PRS or Music Man? Help needed - The Gear Page

Jan 18, 2022 · OP needs to play both EBMM and PRS guitars to get a sense of which he'd prefer. I've owned many of both. Both companies are pretty consistent with quality control. Out of many, I've had a couple of guitars from both that had issues. PRS P24 had a bad piezo element in the bridge. McCarty 594 SC had lacked resonance.
