Aug 6, 2020 · For internal contacts (employee of our own Enterprise and working on same tenant) the Chat icon is active (blue) and opens a Teams window to start chatting. For external contacts (employees from Microsoft, MSFT Partners, or other vendors) the Chat icon is not active (grey), even though we can start a Chat with these people directly in Teams.

Jan 27, 2022 · I've been unable to access outlook email/calendar through the web. Every time I click on the link, it gets stuck on the loading screen (just the envelope icon opening and closing on a loop). It works just fine on my phone app. Clearing my browser cache/cookies worked for about 2 seconds before it went to the loading screen again.

Oct 29, 2022 · I am an independent advisor addressing Microsoft Outlook questions. Your assessment is correct. The Encrypt button has been grouped with Message options under More options for quite some time and by design. This button only appears for new messages or responses. I suspect they are trying to keep the top menu relevant and decluttered.

As of October 10, 2023, Microsoft rolled out a new update to New Outlook and Web versions. The new update fixed the disappearing act of My Templates Icon and entries for most users. That wasn't really a problem until this morning, when Outlook asked me to upgrade to the "new Outlook" on the web.

Nov 29, 2016 · Last couple of days the Office 365 Groups icons have been missing from the web version of Outlook for me and some of our users. Tried clearing cache etc but that did not help. Seems that the DOM is different between the experiences.

Jan 26, 2024 · I have the very same problem here. Works everywhere except Outlook (yes, I have the new one). Outlook Web version does not work either. The Copilot icon is simply grayed out. Weirdly, it works in mobile Outlook app on iOS. I have English language configured everywhere, I even removed additional languages from M365 settings.
