The plan is to have about a 3 inch pulley on the motor to the close to 13 inch pulley on the hammer. A Google search will turn up an electronic copy of Davidson & Strite’s Patent #739992 Hawkeye Yieldable Pitman for Power Hammer 1903. There is also a Canadian patent but as of yet I haven’t requested a copy from their patent office.
