Warming Centers . When temperatures are at 32ºF or below, DFSS activates warming areas at our six community service centers. These warming centers operate Monday through Friday, from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Chicago Parks District facilities and Chicago Public Libraries also provide spaces available to the public during their typical business hours.
