Aug 1, 2023 · Not sure where the filler neck for DEF on the newer trucks, but mine is against the passenger side firewall requiring an offset funnel. The 1 gallon jugs seem to be the best because they don't leak like the 2.5 silly containers and you can control the pour.

Dec 17, 2017 · You have to be careful with scan tools on these trucks. Clearing codes won't always clear the warning lights or messages on the dic. Even my snap on solus ultra is a pain to use some times. The def systems have a "tamper" proofing built in that requires tests to run and pass before the lights and messages will clear.
