Dec 29, 2023 · Lauri Markkanen is proving he’s the real deal with an outstanding follow-up to his breakout campaign from last year. 24-9 on .500 FG%, 3.2 3PM, 85% FT and even 1 STL per game. He did miss eight straight games with a hamstring injury, along with a couple more for “injury management” after that.

Nov 1, 2023 · But Lauri would be a perfect fit next to Embiid and in Nurse's system. I just don't think Utah will go for it unless Ainge feels he can bend us over again. But, in my dreams, Lauri + Jaylen Brown (my #1 free agent target for 2024) starting next to Embiid, Maxey and whoever will be playing the 3 next season would be lethal.

Dec 30, 2020 · Lauri Markkanen is averaging 17.5/8.0/1.0 in 31.6mpg. In his first 30 games back, he’s already had the same amount of 30+ point games(3) as Kristaps Porzingis had in his entire second season(66 games).

A reporter mentioned talking to the Jazz front office saying "oh will this player be enough for Lauri", and the Jazz front office said "No we want that player instead", a lot of people assume player one was Giddey, and player two was probably Chet, or JDub.

Where does Lauri Markkanen Rank? Lauri is now following up his all-star, nearly all-NBA season averaging 24-9-2 on 65 TS%, 49.7-39.7-87.5 shooting splits. He currently ranks 12th in EPM (ironically tied with Donovan Mitchell at +4.8) on the season and has been rapidly ascending.
