Jun 2, 2008 · Fish stores sell pea pebble gravel for $3-5 for a 5 lb bag and usually about $15 for a 20 lb bag. You can buy a 50 lb bag of the same pea gravel at Home Depot for less than $5. All it needs is a good rinse, just as any aquarium substrate would need. My LFS also sells larger rocks for aquarium use.

How much water conditioner do I use when adding 4 cups...
Jan 4, 2012 · I used Top Fin's Water Conditioner when I filled my 10g aquarium for the first time. The directions said to use a full capful for each 10g of water, so I only needed one capful initially for my 10g aquarium. My question is: If I want to top-off my aquarium with say, 4 cups of water, how much water conditioner should I use?
