Mar 10, 2018 · Nope, Shuri would not have designed a Jaguar suit. There are no Jaguars in Africa. Shuri Designed a panther suit with leopard highlights. Reason being most of the panthers / Panther motifs seen in the movie are based around leopards. But because Killmonger is from America, he adopts it and it thus becomes the Golden Jaguar suit.

It's not necessary for jaguars to be in Africa for his suit to be called golden Jaguar. He's been to more places than Africa.
