Dec 29, 2008 · There's room for a 15" engine with a 2 X 4 block laid down under the skeg on the single center tube type stand. Obviously the 1 1/2" of the 2 by, plus the tube thickness and the ground clearance is more than the 5 inches you'd need. The sliding arms can go up an inch or two also if I remember.

I've already made one that has wheels on it, though I need another, but this one is to be stationary, although light so portability is paramount.
